Key Benefits of Early Head Start

Child Development: We offer developmentally appropriate and culturally sensitive services that actively engage children to enhance and advance each child's development.

Nutrition: Breakfast and lunch are served daily as well as a snack. Meals are prepared according to USDA standards and children's growth is monitored by staff to insure proper nutrition.

Family Development: Parent meetings and trainings are offered monthly, and parent involvement is strongly encouraged. We provide access to mental health services and parents receive ongoing support from the staff.

Disability Service: Children with Special needs are mainstreamed into the classrooms, in collaboration with other agencies, to provide comprehensive services. If delays are suspected, children are referred to the appropriate agencies. Early Head Start is proud to serve children with disabilities.
