Community Education

Program staff provide many educational opportunities about program services and the topics of domestic violence and sexual assault. Staff make presentations to church groups, schools, clubs, and other organizations. If your organization would like to schedule a presentation to learn more about our services or domestic violence and sexual assault, please call or text 423-889-1479 or submit a contact form.

In the past, the program presented to inpatient groups at Pine Ridge Treatment Center, the Cleveland Fire Department, Walker Valley High School, United Women of the Ocoee Region, Benton United Methodist Church, Lee University, Cleveland High School, Polk County High School, and many more!


Community Support Groups

Creating a support system is essential to healing from abuse.  Our program offers support groups for both women and children that meet once a week in a confidential location.  Some of the group topics include education on the dynamics of domestic violence, self-esteem, assertiveness, goal-setting, and safety planningFREE CHILD CARE WITH NOTICE,  click here to submit an online request for more information. 

Court Advocacy

Filing for orders of protection or police reports, preparing for court hearings, looking for referrals in the legal community, etc. can be intimidating and overwhelming. One on One Crisis Counseling

All victims who contact the program receive crisis counseling either through the hotline, face to face sessions, or support groups.  Crisis counseling is geared towards assisting clients with safety planning, goal-setting, help navigating the court system, and options that help them work towards a future that is free from abuse.  To set up a counseling appointment, click here.
